Perhaps a little history might be apropos at this point ... 

Let me introduce the players:

Up a Tree

Steve:   Self made man.  Father to Asa.  Recently retired from the National Park Service.  

All-around great guy who would just as soon live in a tree.  Loved by woman below.

On the Moon

Jeannine:   (To be filled in later by the guy named above.)  (Keep in mind, I can see whatever you write, Steven - :/)

Both being internet junkies, it was a perfectly natural occurrence that we should meet in cyberspace - and so it was in October of 2011 that our online profiles bumped into each other.

What followed:

Guy meets girl (off the net) in Florida, November of 2011.
Girl meets guy (right back at him) in February of 2012.
Neither guy nor girl were repulsed or mortified, so ... :)
Girl ships out to share life with guy in June of 2012.
And the rest is - well - as I said earlier .. history.

Since living with Steve, I've been privileged to meet his family and friends.  
Likewise, he has met some of my family .. more to come.
